S 2000 Reel Tilt on startup

Have a 9 line Double Triple RWB. When the machine is OFF and I turn it on, I alway get this Message  “Door Reel 3 Tilt, Call Attendant…”  To clear it, I have to move the open/close knob up and down several times.  This always clears it an never comes back during play only when machine is powered off and I start it.  Is there a fix to this or should I just live with it…. Otherwise machine works fine.  Thanks,

Swap Reel 3 and 2 around and see if the problem follows the reel or stays with the reel position.  If it changes to Reel 2 Tilt then you'll know the problem is with the reel assembly.  It if stays with reel 3 then it's something else.  Also make sure the reel isn't rubbing on the display or any wiring.

Examine the mating reel connector on the reel shelf. Make sure the ears aren't broken and that it's able to seat fully. I have one machine where I have to reach in behind the connector and support it as I plug in the reel.

Check the two reel shelf screws . They could be loose and the shelf has slid forward and the reels rub on the display

Do you have a 1270 MPU? Using SG0003xx or older chips? That will cause reel tilts at startup. Post a clear pic of the MPU and SG chips.
