Starting a new Bally 873 EM service today. I've never seen this Belly glass before. I was just wondering if anyone else had? Was this the name of a cruise ship?

One of the longest running shows in Las Vegas. I believe it was at the Stardust.
Curious about the Bally model number. If the machine was from the Stardust,
but after all these years, glass does get moved around and or replaced.

That's a nice piece of classic glass.

DavidLee is correct. That show was at the Stardust. In the early years, Siegfried & Roy were part of the show.

Well I feel stupid

after taking a picture of the cabinet tag it turns out this is a 1046, not a 873.. To me at first glance this looks like a 5 line 5 coin 873, but the book says a 1046 is a 5 line criss cross. What the hecks the difference?

Well I seem to have payout issues. I hit a single cherry on reel one and I was paid 7 coins. My wipers are centered on the wiper buttons. Looks like I might have to check if the wipers are install correct. Might be time to start a new thread for repair guidance.

David.. I was looking at you photo of the information. Why does it say 3 line pay? It is a fruit machine, that is correct, but my book of the model numbers has it as a 5 line criss cross? Do they mean 3 reel pay?

First thought, someone put the workings of a 5 line diagonal into that case.
Is it a progressive type with two red arrow jackpots on top?

No it not. The reel wiper boards and wipers both say 1046. I think the hopper has it on the front too. I took a pic of the feature glass.

Here are 2 more pics. One of the hopper tag and one of the front of the feature units light board. Both showing 1046 ID. So is the glass correct?

Correct.. That I understand. 2 coins for line 3 and 5 coins for line 4.

I figured you got the payout, but sometimes if its been awhile since I played this type of machine.
The extra coins takes a minute to register in my brain.

David, Are the deepest cam cuts always your largest jackpots? Like this machines 7's.. With a 5 line payout, would you install the strips with the 7's on the 5th line paid? I know on a single line game it would be on the only pay line.
