Game King identification help
« on: March 19, 2019, 05:32:10 PM »
Hi,

I'm a new IGT Game King owner hoping someone can help determine which type / style machine this is.  The plate stamped on the right side indicates Model #96451300 and Mfg date 10/2006.  The motherboard indicates Assy No: 757044 with an attached riser card, "Game King Deluxe - Memory 2A".  The Keychip is an IGT BOOT 0036 / 044 7986.  Game Kit Version is GK003450 / Boot PROM Version: GKB00036...  If this helps in addition to attached pictures.

Trying to purchase a lock set, LED lights, Keychips and other replacement parts but aren't sure which type of cabinet / machine this is to know I'm buying the correct compatible parts (WBA BV, S2000, I-GAME+, UBA, etc.).  Searching other posts and Google for pictures of similar machines makes me believe it's either a late S2000 or an I-Game.  Since I can't find any examples of what a WBA BV or a UBA cabinet / style looks like to have any comparison those can't be ruled out either.

Appreciate any help anyone can offer.  Thanks!
Thanks,

Shane

It is a "Panda" cabinet.  19" screen setup for gameking play (you can buy a piece of the player panel that will provide the second row of buttons to play slot games correctly).  It is an 044 setup.  It is widely called a Gameking Enhanced cabinet.  The MPU uses flashboards for programs.  The Boot36 is not a keychip, it is a boot chip.  You need a Key 28 in order to clear and key the backplane to setup/change options.  Post a picture of the insides of the machine and we will be able to better identify the type of validator, etc you will need if you want to buy spares.

You can also buy a daughter card that replaces the flash board (the part labeled Gameking Deluxe Memory 2A) and allows you to use games based on chips/simms (the previous generation of this machine type, called 3902).

Thanks!  Never came across the term Panda cabinet, though now that I search for it I see more machines that look like mine.  :thank_you:  I just realized late last night that "BV" stands for Bill Validator, which is why all those references to cabinets as WBA BV; I kept thinking that was a cabinet brand / style.   :duh:   Photo of insides below.  Thanks for all the info., this should help get me going in the right direction.
Thanks,

Shane

Yes, you have a WBA bill validator, the inside is a typical Panda cabinet.  As far a lock sets, google cam panda 19" IGT.  I usually put thumb lock cams on all my machines, no sense on having keys around if it is a home machine.  The important part is getting the right cams for the various locks.  I think spininc sells a complete cam set for your cabinet, you supply the locks.  You can put LED wedge bulbs in the player panel, makes it look a lot nicer and has that more modern white light.  They are 12 volt wedge bulbs.
