Hey guys,

Another "Universal Monster" series game made it to my house a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd better share for those that are looking for a great new game.  It makes me sad that IGT didn't complete a full "Universal Monsters" lineup, and Monster Mansion is probably the closest game that will give us that, but today I bring you "Creature from the Black Lagoon!"  This game is themed after the drive-in movie experience and for those that remember the "Let's all go to the snack bar" tune during the intermissions, you'll definitely need to check out the video footage below.  All of the snack bar characters sing a little tune during "Scatter pays" and the "Snack Lagoon" bonus round.  Really cool!  Hopefully, I'll be able to capture the "Creature Claw" bonus movie clip in another video because there are some cheesy/funny clips that come along with it that feature Creature himself.

The glass is also very colorful and nicely done.  If you are able to find this kit, I definitely recommend picking this one up!   A family favorite in our house.

Anyway, below is some footage of the game in action and I've attached a few photos as well!

CFTBL is one of the best slots ever IMHO, but the pinball machine is even better!

Rob, you are spot on.  The CFTBL pin is one of the best titles ever created.  Just played it at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas last week.

I now have CFTBL in my collection and enjoy it except for one small thing: when you make a "coins per line" bet, does the sound effect seem odd? It sounds like a scratchy noise that almost sounds like a glitch!

It might be correct, but compared to pleasing sounds of other games, it's an "earsore."

Sorry to revive an old thread. Let's all go to the snack bar!
