IGT S2000 ticket printer issue

Unable to print tickets on my S2000. I did a clear and a key on the 1270 MPU. Problem is that I cannot disable the token payout (hopper). It is enabled and won’t accept a change to disabled. Under 7.2.2 I can enable printer. Not sure why I can’t disable the token payout?  Am I missing something?

Never had that problem. I do know it has to be done during the key chip setup. You can not go back into the key chip menu & change it afterwards. Are you using a key 45?

Yes. Using Key 45. Original problem was machine disabled. Solved that issue but lost on the token payout. Everything else works properly but when you cash out it is a hand pay

Boot chip is RB000001
Stepper Base SB001000


Also cannot change payout percentage

That sheds some light on things. You need RBK00001 key chip for r boards. It's a clear & key combo. It goes in the boot chip socket instead of the SB socket. Let me know if you need one.

RB, is his sb001000 correct? I know it is used to play S+ games also.

SB001000 is correct for "R" boards because the pay table is flashed to the board.
"RG" boards on the other hand are flashed for a game type & will use a specific SB chip for the game pay table.
