Author Topic: Game King 3902 will not pay using printer goes to attendant hand pay (Read 1202 times)

On my game king ... after using key 22 to program and setting pay out using the printer it still will only pay using Hand Pay. I have tried on other boards and the same thing. Would you have any idea what is causing this? Thanks.

Try using the [Netplex Auto-Configure] in the set-up options to find the device.

Depending on what software you are using, specifically the GME chips you may have to set validation to standard. It needs to be set to system if you are using a TITO. Your validation settings & menu options may vary especially with older GME chips.

Yes I am using TITO and it was working great until just this morning. I have it set as described. I have tried other boards and the same thing. It will not go to printer when cash out. Perhaps my TITO is not working and I should set at standard to see. I am puzzled. Thanks co much for your help.

Check your ribbon cable connections. It is required for the TITO to communicate.

I just checked the ribbon connections and they are good. Could it be a bad ribbon connector?

That is a possibility but a visual inspection should reveal any breaks in the ribbon. Does your TITO have a reset button on it? If neither the cable or reset fixes your problem it might just be the TITO itself.

The reset did not do anything however in the process I discovered a wire that was not connected to anything. I have a picture of the wire and where it looks like it should be connected but I do not know which socket to plug it.

Is that the service lamp with the glass bulb gone?

There really shouldn't be any open ends of live wiring inside a machine that has a metal lining.

I think you got into the conversation late. Please read all the posts. No it is not a service lamp and yes I understand about loose wires. To make a long story short I was conversing with RB about my Bettor TITO not working and he was providing me with some trouble shooting steps. During that time I found a connection not plugged in from the TITO Unit. I sent some pics asking where it should be plugged into the TITO unit. Hope this clears it up. Perhaps you may have an answer.

Yeah, it looks like the hot glue failed and the power connection fell out. Contact Jim (Bettorslots) he should be able to help you put it back where it belongs.

One goes to ground the other to 5v. Should be able to tell which is ground from other end.
