Game King 3902 Coin and Hopper Warnings on a Bill Only Machine
« on: December 16, 2020, 04:33:13 PM »
This week I had two of my 3902 boards start giving 1) Coin Jam and 2) Hopper Jam errors.  After trying a reset 2 or 3 times I notice the top IO board was sticking out a little too far.  I shut down the machine and reset the IO board tray.  Every thing is back in service.  My machine door closes quite hard and over time the IO tray was pulled out of its sockets.  My machine is bill only so I figured the IO board was the only problem source.  Thanks to the past members that helped me see the solution.   :applause:

Thanks for posting your problem and the resolution to it, it may help someone else with their machine.  Just for clarification though can you post a picture of the board that you reseated?  The older 13" and 19" Game King machines had a single I/O card tray that was located above the MPU board, but those older machines were coin-in/out.  The newer GK+ machines had TITO support, but have small IO cards, one in the door, and one or two on left wall inside the machine.  Thanks.
