IGT MONARCH (GU4 I THINK) help needed
« on: August 20, 2014, 10:36:00 PM »
Hello, I wasn't 100% sure where to post this but hopefully I'm in the right place.
I have two IGT monarch machines which have been decommissioned and I cant really
Find a lot of information on how to get them running again.

MACHINE 1: Jungle Jive.
I was able to clear all errors on this machine, the only problem is that
there is no game to play, even though the game chip and base chip are inserted.
All that comes up is an IGT logo across a blue screen.

MACHINE 2: River Of Riches.
This machine upon setup will not recognize the hopper in the "devices" section and will not let me go back to the
Game until this problem has been rectified.

all help would be greatly appreciated

I will upload pictures below.

I noticed on these boards the the base chip has a total of 21 pins per side whereas the keychip22 I bought
for my gameking has only 20 pins per side.

If I swap the game chip from the River Of Riches machine into the
Jungle Jive board I can get into the settings screen which has
network, devices ect.... and can clear all tilts but when Iexit the setup
it goes to the blue screen with a monarch wallpaper and it still says machine
disabled.     Is anyone familiar with these machines at all?
