Try recalibrating  the touchscreen.  Turn the jackpot reset key three times and follow the instructions.

Ok after that it should go to a blue test screen where you can draw with your finger.  Does the bottom right corner work after the calibration on the test screen?

I got to the screen to draw with my finger. Could not get to bottom right corner. Stopped about 2 inches high and 2 inches to the left. All 3 of the other corners and middle were good.

OK, sounds like you got something wrong with the touchscreen or the controller.  Probably the former, but the controller is cheap and easy to replace so I'd try that first.

It's called acetate cloth tape I think....I use it for my touchscreens so the TS panel doesn't slide down from the LCD panel.

Believe it or not, the touchscreen is working perfectly today.  I did have a scare with a boot error at start up DSA failure check and replace flash. Turned off and back on then it booted
