Golden gate coin mech question?
« on: December 12, 2021, 02:00:14 PM »
I wonder what this card under the coin mech is for, it’s installed on a em Bally golden gate.

Why is it there and can it be removed without any problems, and the game still can play normal?

Not sure what that board is for.  But it's nice to see another Golden Gate.  Did it come from Bally Dublin?  If so, what is the serial number?

can't tell ... picture too blurry.

what is usually there is the coin switch and diverter.  The board could be a replacement for either/both.

you need the switch, but not the diverter.

The golden gate has the serial number nummer 167

The boar wasn’t connected so I guess it’s ok thanks :)

Does it exist any info manual etc for the 1133 golden gate ?

Not that I have found.

The closest would be Circus 931, as it has the tunnel feature and the rules are the same.  I haven't deep dived to see if the wiring is the same, but I can tell you Golden Gate has a different hopper and molex connectors instead of jones plugs etc.

Its a coinsorter - made in Denmark by Compugame - it detects the hole in a coin-25-Øre and leads it to cashbox - Bally brass tokens to the hopper....

thanks!  The bally 2200 manual talks about that coin system and says the front door diagram has more info, but they didn't show that part on the diagram.
