Touch screen unresponsive

Still working on these I games, setting up a 3902 board with enchanted unicorn (I0000842). Went thru the keychip menu just fine, everything all set up. Exited the menu and the game went to the verify settings prompt. Once there, the touch screen is completely unresponsive. I can get into the service menu, and also can get to the screen calibration using the attendant key. When it says to touch the dot until the tone is heard, there’s no dot. It just hangs.

This is the second board I’m setting up for this machine, the first worked just fine.

Doing a screen swap is my next quick trial, and I’m probably going to try a clear again and start over. Just wondering if anyone has ran into this issue and found the cause. These boards have been sitting for years and who knows what underlying issues they may have.

Put your known working board back in and see if the problem goes away.

That's exactly what I would do.  If it goes away then you know what direction to go in troubleshooting.

Swapped boards, no issue. Re-cleared and keyed the game I was having issues with, setup and works just fine. Fluke? No idea what was wrong but all good now. Thought about it, and I never did see a tilt message or touchscreen error... weird.
