S+ Issue
« on: November 22, 2023, 12:24:19 PM »
So last night I opened up one of my S+ machines to empty the coin hopper.
Closed it up and turned it on via the power strip and heard a slight pop and nothing shows on any of the displays.
Opened the door to see if I could see anything and after looking for a while, I noticed a black wire had come out of the coin comparitor plug and was touching metal.
I looked at another one of my S+ coin mech to see where the black wire went on the plug and put it back and fired it up again, but still nothing on any display.

MPU fried?

You may have just blown a fuse. Remove the coin tray and check the 3 fuses on the front of the power box.

Is there any signs of power? Some power strips have reset buttons on them.
Working on an IGT S Plus machine.
Not working lights up no display reels have tension when powered up. Manuals are in the mail.
