Yeah I think I will do that. But still curious what would keep the coil from getting power. I did replace the big cap on the Validator board because I read it can cause this issue. It did not help.
I did get the bill validator working. I dont think it ever worked while the people I bought it from had it. I think they just used coins. The first thing it was not in place and locked down like it should be. Also one of the connectors to it was not hooked up. It will take $1 bills but not the new $20 or  new$100. That is all the bills I had.
It is a DBV - 200 - SS
I will have to do some research on it and see what the update options are on it.
If I cant find what I need I will start a new post on the bill validator.
