BB3 to Argos conversion help
« on: January 05, 2023, 12:11:58 PM »
Can anyone help with basic instructions on converting a bb3 to argos (for lock it link). I purchased an extra nxt3.2 that was supposedly converted already, and all I needed was the install dongle, game dongle, license and multi-link progressive dongle.

I can't get the nxt 3.2 to do anything at all when installed. It has the argos bios installed, and I was told the OS was allready on the hard drive. I bought SEVERAL different install dongles, and am booting with them in the usb slot (and only them) and the machine never boots. Colors cycle and both touchscreens (like no signal) then all go black, I am sure I am just missing a step, but could just be beating my head against a wall with a bad CPU.

I first tried  AIN0000000C (SHA1-9829). I also have AIN0000200c (no idea what it is for), AIN0000213A (no clue),

At this point I am lost, and would love some help from anyone that has succesfully completed the conversion. I have two additional CPU's (both working fine) and could try to move the bios to one of them (and hard drive I suppose).

If you do not have signal on the monitors, CPU does not work, it is not correctly seated, or the BIOS is corrupted or misplaced

You should see an initial POST screen with text on it when first powered on and the BIOS runs a validation check....
If you do not get anything on screen, check that he BIOS chip is seated OK.  Remove the JURS chip if it is still in there...
Reseat the CPU..  There is an extra power cable the needs to be plugged in to the right side of the CPU?
