IGT S+ Lighting Noise Issue

Hi there I tried replacing the bulb to the reels on this IGT S+ machine and it does not come on but making a noise as noted in the video. Does anyone have any input on this? I have reached out to here before and had GREAT luck with things.

not many things in that circuit, lamp, starter, ballast and wiring.  you can use the top box lamp circuits for troubleshooting and substitution.  if not the bulb or starter, probably the ballast.after checking all the associated wiring.

caution, this circuit is 110vac, can deliver a nice shock!!!,  alot of time the wiring gets pinched up near the door where it closes and breaks the wire.

double check all the wiring.

You can order them from Amazon or other online sources.  Marco Specialties (marcospecialties.com) specializes in pinball but many components are identical or compatible.  They carry ballasts and starters.

you have a problem with the lamp, but I think the noise is coming from you CC-16 ,it sounds like the rake is vibrating due to a weak cap on the cc-16 board.

I do have complete sub assembly which has the ballast, starter socket and wiring, just undo two nuts and replace.

should fix the problem.
