For the life of me I cant seem to get past this error.
These are casino fresh machines that appear to be all OEM.
Tried swapping hard drives.
Tried a new SATA cable
Clearing with a 1810 card.

Games are Transmissive 5 reel.
Using 3 sets of OS and Game CF.  These were all in the CPU's and I had inadvertently mixed them up but I think I have tried every combination of OS / Game and still no luck.

The OS I am currently using is H9.23 and H9.26
Cards have never been inserted in a PC (not by me at least)

Crazy, I tried 2 hard drives and 2 cables. Does it make a difference the SATA port that is used?  I tried both of them as well.

Should not make a difference which SATA port, needs SATA and power on that cable.

are you sure the hard drives are good.  Casino fresh machines are infamous for having parts that are not working.  I would test the hard drive on a pc or laptop to make sure they work.

One hard drive confirmed working good via a SATA to USB adapter and checked on a PC.  Unrecognized OS (which makes sense) but still picked up by windows.

Im going to do some voltage / load testing on the power cable in addition to some swap around of processors.

I could feel the platter spinning on one drive so I dont think its power problem.  I am using a SSD (the one that checked out on a PC). Both 40GB.

Forgot to add, during the Bios screen flash it looks like the BIOS is recognizing the Hard Drive.

/dev/hdb is the CF card for the game. it says it is failing validation.  My guess is you have a bad game card. Try installing any other game card that uses the same family OS to see if it at least starts copying the image to the hard drive.

That seems to make sense, I did see the drive recognized during the bios screen and saw the message saying writing game to drive (or something similar).
I will try multiple game cards (they are all the same game) and report back.
