Splus Game in S2000

Hi.  Just one thing.  What Game 1 and Game 2 can I use for a Balloon Bars 3CM ? Thank you.

Most of the time when you change out the game chips you have to key the machine.

You need to use SB001000 as the base chip. The SS reel chip has to be installed in the socket correctly and must be 120ns or faster to work in an S2000.  If you have a chip that was originally installed in a S+ machine it may be too slow.

Thanks for the infos.  The Ss chip is too slow. You are right.  I don’t have faster ones.   The other option is to use this game using S2000 chips.    Anyone can tell me what SB and SGS  chips are required for this game ?  3 CM Balloon Bars.   Thank you.

I like using Winbond Flash chips rather than the 27C64A's as they're cheap, fast (45ns), electrically erase, and work for other things too.  You have to use an offset in a S2000 though or copy the file 8 times (that's what I do) and then write it to the chip.  Mark is correct, Balloon Bars was an S+ only game, there isn't a SB chip that you can use for it.

Thanks for all your help.  I searched every corner of the house and eventually came across an old 27c64 10F1.  I erased it tried my luck burning the Ss program on it.  It allowed the machine to boot and the game was ready to play.   My last question will be about the sound, is there any s2000 sound board that could fit the Balloon Bars game ?

DSV00042 will work and a TDD Dlx with cheese SIMM should also. It's cool for nudge games.
