Hello everyone! I lurk here often but never post. I'm bringing an 873-K back to life and have a question about the "coin accepted / insert coin" cover. I've attached a picture for reference. What I want to know is if this cover is from a later series machine or a mod available to be added later. This cover has it's own bulb socket to keep the denomination constantly lit, well, until the service switch is pushed. In the picture the ugly soldering at the coin accepted socket and the additional white /blue wire at the service switch are clearly add-ons or a hack. It makes absolutely no sense to have the denomination light controlled by the service switch anyhow. I couldn't find this cover in my parts listing and prefer to have my machines in the condition as delivered by Bally with little to no customer mods.
