I don't have any before pictures of this. My father bought this for my mom years ago. he passed away nearly 10 years ago now and this machine has been neglected and non-working for probably another decade before that. Grabbing info from different sources I managed to get this thing running nearly like new and all the payouts are now as they should be. This is the first time I've ever worked on a slot machine in my life and found the experience pretty damn cool. Just wanted to share the picture with some people that would appreciate it. Thanks for having me on the forum and look forward to maybe picking up some more machines...this one just looks so lonely now lol.

Is that a Bally 742? There should be a tag on the side with a model number and a date.

it is stamped on the top of the manufacture tag...in the black

now I see it. The numbers are spaced so far apart, it might not be a date, this machine is surely older than 1981??

That's the way Bally dated their machines
That could have been one of the last EM's
before the E1000's came out.

I don't know this for sure, But LONG ago the Military had slot machines at the Clubs overseas. The Now called "Morale welfare and Recreation" was once called "Special Services"

the tags they used looked very close to the metal tag you have on your machine. I worked at the NCO Club where they had Slots..

I Might be full of it but unless someone else here knows of that TAG I bet you have a old Military Slot Machine that was once used at a Club.

I know they still had slots in Rota Spain in 1982, don't know when or if they ever took them out..

thanks Don. I know there were slots at the NCO club at Osan when I was there in the mid 90s. Air Force. I'm pretty sure that slots in overseas locations on base was common place...not sure about now.

What's interesting to me is that the model number on the tags not listed in my Bally Slot Machines guide book. They show 1093-1, 1096, 1099, but not 1097? It's possible this was made late in the EM run for our Military? Still a nice clean old machine. Nice job..

Looks like a Money Honey machine. 1964 machine model 742A-1G. All the glass match up too. Nice job.... OH by the way .... your HOOKED ... you got the bug. That bug you just dont want to get rid of my friend. Welcome to the slot obsession world.

If you not careful they take over your house.. They look good in every empty corner.. People come over to my house and say OMG..

I don't want to even count what's in the garage or shed
