touch screen

I was changing games on an 044 gameking the other day and when I got to the key chip menu the touch screen was not working properly. I would have to push several times before it would recognize that I had touched it even during and after a calibration. At some point while I was struggling with this I realized if my left hand was touching the door the touch screed worked perfectly as long as I was touching the door. I played it for a while like that then I turned the machine off. Now when I turned the machine on today the touch screen is working fine and I don't need to be touching the door. Just curios if this means touch screen is going out did I possibly do something wrong during the game change? It's a wells gardener door mount LCD.

I have run into that at times.  It is usually a grounding issue,  when you touch the metal, you are grounding yourself so it works better.

It IS a Grounding issue!
I have seen it over and over again.
Check the outlet with a tester, bet you find Neutral and ground reversed...
