IGT s plus DBV 200 setup

I picked up a non working IGT  S plus. Replaced the battery. Have the machine working on coin. Tried to enable the DBV with a set chip to .25 On start up the bill validator head runs on for awhile and stops . The transport does not move unless open the door, reinsert the cash can then the transport works. Appears to be seated properly the gear is down. But close the door and nothing but the head running. Any suggestions?

having similar problems with BV have you had any luck

It ended up being my bill validator head was bad.
