Hi sorry for my english,
 
I have an IGT S2000 slot machine with the WBA 13SS USA installed.
I want to change it for a Bill validator who accept the news canadian bills.
 
Do you have some suggestion ???

When you turn your bill validator over, is there a chip on the bottom? You can just change the chip. I am checking to see if another member here can copy mine.

Ahhh, not so fast...aren't Canadian bills wider than US currency? Meaning, you would have to replace bezel as well? I think JCMTech just mentioned that in a recent thread.

hi there Canadian bill went to plastic money the only thing that will accept those new bill is a uba. I ship games there all the time so if you want it to accept there new bill go with a uba change frame bezel and cash can.

Not sure the statement about the UBA being the only BV to accept the new Candian Bills

What I have is W21CAN023  V1.79-04   WBA-21-SS and was removed from casino in 2012

In terms of software this version is very old

Accepts $5('01), 10('01,'04), $20('91,'04), $50('88,'04), and $100('88,'04)Canadian dollar bills. One way acceptance. This software does not accepts barcode coupons.

For all those in Canada, isn't it cheaper to just install TITO and be done with it?  You don't have to change any heads or anything.

I sent a chip for Canadian currency to clawsino. Been waiting to find out if it worked. I know it had to go thru Customs, but he should of had it long ago. It was a W21CAN023 V1.79-04 WBA-21-SS and came out of a WBA13

I was reading on the forum that ordered the TITO Deluxe for your S2000 so you can accept the new Canadian Bills.  How did that work out?

Also, I am looking for the same solution.  Where did you buy one, and how much?

I would be interested in this solution as well, as I have a number of WBA-22 heads which only accept the old Canadian currency.  Is it just a chip change with the new code?  and who here can update the current WBA-22's I have?  I would be more than happy to buy the chips and change them myself :)

As far as I know the TITO only lets the validator accept tickets. So you can print out tickets and use them over and over.
