Well somebody said something about buying one machine will eventually turn into a fleet of machines and I guess I am on my way! LOL. I have picked up this Bally 1212-E as my 2nd machine! It does power up but it appears to have issues, I am very busy during the summer so I hope to get it working this winter and will start collecting info before then, let me know what you guys think of this machine.

As always, thanks!

Finally had a little bit of time to mess with this machine due to Holiday, pulled hopper out, pulled fuse and it was blown, looked at fuse and it had a 20amp fuse in it, that can't be right, pulled board and it has definitely had some issues, it was burnt in several areas on the solder side. The Bally Hopper board is from 1978 M645-425. I looked around on the net and did not find anything. Do I need to have this board serviced or is there a replacement that will work in this machine.

Thank You!

Happy New Year!

Those boards are usually rebuildable. However , if you would rather get a replacement,  you can get the original boards from Alan at KLAR www.slotmachinerepair.com or you can get a redesigned new version from seller foxsslots1 on Ebay.

Thank you so much for the info, as far as rebuild I have 1 guy around here but I probably would not get it back for a year or two, lol. I did see the one on Ebay but was not sure if it would work in my machine. I would assume the boards from KLAR are in good working order so I might go that route.

Thanks Again!
