RGB LED strips to replace florescent bulbs.
« on: January 26, 2020, 10:20:02 AM »
Finally did something about the bad bulbs. Wasn't interested in replacing them since I had the LED strips laying unused.

Enjoy!

Really Cool! There are a lot of different LED Strips on Feebay, what type ( voltage, connecters) did you use to get that setup?

I used strips that are powered by their own supply that plugs into an outlet in the slant top I have.

If you have an outlet in your machine, you can use strips that have their own supply.

In thing I might suggest is looking for LED strips that are in sections so that you can join sections with the extensions.

I'll look and see what I can find and post them.

I have done a similar thing with 24V white LED strip. I just cable tie it to the old fluro tube then wire it into the existing power input to the fluro balast.
