How to remove logic door switch

Switch won’t stay closed, plan on removing and tying off.

How do I unmount it from the bottom
Of the logic box?

You have to remove the CPU from the backplane and then you can get to the screws.

...or you can just disconnect the 6-pin Molex plug underneath and jump the logic door pins with a small piece of wire.

Strange thing, switch works when manually pushed,  but logic door does not seem
To lodge it over far enough.

I used to use a rubber band to hold the switch over when the door was missing. Just tight and anchored to the hook coming up from below!  Easiest of all...............

I ended up removing the logic box, detaching switch, and zip-tying it closed.

Strange that the switch never gave me trouble,  but after moving the machine, the logic door closed didn’t keep the switch closed properly.

What colors/pins.

Jump pins #1 and #3.
They're on the opposite side of the housing latch on the bottom row.
Below is a photo of a jumper I've made for a WMS BB2 logic door switch.
Simply disconnect harness from switch and push in the jumper.
