New Blazing 7's Craigslist find

Picked up a second slot for the game room today. Guy had a Blazing 7 that he said did not work. He said it turned on but would not play anymore. He wanted a 150 for it but said he would take 125. I got it home plugged it in and it booted the bell rang and it showed over 400 credits with a 32. Looked to me like it was just trying to payout with an empty hopper. I hit the reset and turned the jackpot key. The machine rebooted with zero credits and has been working perfectly all afternoon! It needs a good cleaning and if I can the old lady away from it I'll polish it up here is a pic.......did I do alright on this deal?

Are you talking about the top display? I'll have to figure out how to do that.


I was cleaning the machine and hit the left change button and a credit appeared on the machine. I hit it two more times and got three credits. I spun the reels and hit the button and got three more credits. Looks like somebody set it up for free play? Didn't know that could be done.......cool as hell. My wife was playing and she had 570 credits. She hit again for 300 and the machine tried to payout even though the credit light was on? I tried to reset the machine with the jackpot key but all it would do is count up to 22 then go back and show credits. How do you reset this thing with the key? I guess I got lucky the first time I did it. I ended up putting 300 quarters in it and let it pay down to the 570 then it started playing again. Any insight on this one?

There are Credit Limits that can be set to your liking in the machine program. When your wife hit the 300, it was apparently OVER the Credit limit (likely 750 or 800?). Good move in filling it with coins and letting it payoff, this is exactly what the machine needed to do (or you may have used the little brass key in the side of the machine, but maybe. Not, depending on the limits). Once the machine physically paid out the 300, it can resume normal play.

That's one of my favorite games to play and WIN on.  One of the last true payout machines you can find out there.  I had some fun with them one time at Main Street Station in Vegas one weekday when the casino was slow.
