When I first purchased this machine you had to reset the board every time you turned it on cold & then it would hum pretty loud out of the speaker for about 3 minutes until the machine was warmed up. As time went on it continued to take more tries until it was too bad to mess with & would blow the lower fuse once in a while on the attempts. I purchased another Red Dot power supply & it fixed the problem right up. As time passed this power supply started acting up upon firing it up cold & you had to reset it once or twice to get it up correct. Then as time passed I had to reset the board many many times with bad noises & LED displays & blowing a fuse once in a while etc before I could get it up. I tested the CAPS on both supplies & they all tested good? If I take EITHER power supply out & warm it up in the oven on low for a bit BOTH the power supplies work just perfect in the machine without having to reset upon powering up? If I just unplug the board & let it warm up for 30 minutes the game will come up, but not completely on first reset & takes about 3 to 5 reset attempts to get the Credit, Bet 1 & Max lights to come on? Is this possibly a weak CAP or resistor etc.? My guess it's an easy fix once narrowed down, as they both do the exact same thing, but maybe not? I know on boards if CAPS are too cold a board will act up sometimes, but I'm not very familiar with power supplies . Once the supplies are warmed up the machine works perfect & you can turn it of & on etc with no problems, but once it's cooled all the way down It's back to ground zero? The noise filter on both power supplies have been removed & bypassed, so I know it's not that issue
