Quick question, when did Bally start putting the mechanical win meter that resets in the reel glass.  Was there a specific year they started?

I'm guessing around 76 or 77.
But then my memory is about as bad as my savings account--double digits at best.
I think it was around the time Bally came out with the E-1000...?

There are EM's with the win meter which predate the E 1000's so your 76 or 77 date would probably be correct.

76 when they released the 1088 1091 1113 1114 all For models came with the win meter
The E1000 was released late 81

Thanks guys.   I am going to go look at a "742", sevens over bells this weekend.  Guessing the reel glass may not be original.   It has a spot in reel glass for win meter.  Both meter spot in glass and winner paid lite are in the top right corner of reel glass.  Pic of inside of door doesn't show meter or spot for meter to attach.
