Thx for the reference material. I tested All of the pins that were listed and I’m Not sure if I’ve tested the pin#8 correctly. It’s supposed to be 9.5VAC. If I put a test lead on pin #8 to ground I get 4.1VAC. I also put lead in pin #8 to All the other pins and I don’t have 9.5VAC on any of those combinations. Only thing close was pin #8 and the “0” on the transformer. That gave me10.1VAC. If I put a lead on pin #8 where should I out the other one to test for 9.5VAC?
BTW My supply is a Yellow Dot, 5th picture.

The troubleshooting on the error you have been given is solid.

The other thought on a 41/42/43 error is that the error might be pre-existing.
There is a sequence to clear the error. I am not by my documentation but it should be in the flip cards.

Finally in the top corner of the MPU there are 5 resistors.
Each one represents a reel. Typically you see 3 that are well burned and 2 that are pristine.
The S+ can be a 5 reel machine, you change out the reel shelf and harness and obviously glass and chips..
I have never seen one in NorthAmerica and I have never come across a set of chips but apparently the 5 reel versions were quite common in Australia.
If one of the resistors is flaking and falling apart you can replace it from one of the two pristine ones.

Here is the MPU. Is it those in the corrner?

So I ordered a Ceronix display, it arrived and I hooked it up.  Everything booted fine and it plays with intermittent clicking noise but something seems to be wrong with the touch screen.  I am getting a primary touch screen error periodically.  In the menu, the screen does not accept any touches.  I have tried to contact Ceronix but they don't have any technical support.   They want me to send back the display for testing and perhaps send a new one.  Any ideas before I send it back?   Just to make sure there is nothing wrong on the machine side?

Check list for 41 code
Swap 1 & 2 plugs = 41 code
Pull harness check wiring = 41 code
Cleaned the connectors = 41 code
Checked for debris in the reels =41 code
Well the problem is not reel #1 then.

I said that I was a novice not a computer nerd.  :rotfl:

I forgot to reinstall the lock mechanism for the MPU.

Will look into it next. I am eliminating the possible failures. So far I have completed this:

Check list for 41 code
Swap 1 & 2 plugs = 41 code
Pull harness check wiring = 41 code
Cleaned the connectors = 41 code
Checked for debris in the reels =41 code
