Hello. I have a IGT S+ slot machine. The problem are i can't get 61 go to 61-1. When i get the 61 error i hold the white self test button in 5 sec. Non "ding" or 61-1 shows. Use SP1168 and SS4709.

Check to see that the wires for the test switch are plugged together behind the hopper. I have had a few that had to be cleared to make the test button work again.

I turn on the machine. The 61 error shows. I hold the white self test button in 5 sec the 61 error clear and the machine starting up and the reels spins. The insert coin lamp lights.

So that i don't understand are why i don't get the 61 go to 61-1?

Are you sure it was an error code? Or maybe 61 coins were paid by hopper?

I have had that happen before and it was ready to play. Did you try inserting coins?

Yes that was a error in winner paid "61". Yes i put 3 coins push the spin reels button and the reels spins. I use SP1168 on the machine.

Not now. But are the normal when you have a 61 error code and push the white self test button and the 61-1 don't shows and the machine starting up?

No, not normal but it happens. What caused the 61 error? Did you change games? Replace battery?

Changed battery. When i got this machine the game was 5 times pay deluxe. So i bought a Hot Peppers game kit to the machine

I would like to have a 5x pay deluxe kit.
When I repaired a burnt connector going from motherboard to power source I got the 61, pushed the button and reels spun and it was ready to play.

OK. Was the power connector to the motherboard 6 pin some was burnt?

I have checked the connector now. Non burnt marks on it.

I think the SP1168 chip make this problem

You can try replacing the SP1168 with any other SP chip that is the same game "Type" number.
