King of Africa uses SSOS-000-1300P  The other one is OS family G1.3

G1.3 worked for lobsters but not for Africa.  Found it on eBay for 20 is that good or bad?  Need to find other one.  Will update when when get it.

King of Africa requires the use of an "Extra Spin Button" button deck, do you have the ESB hardware?

That is a good point about the extra spin button. even with the correct OS, it still will not work.
And as Rick pointed out, you do need SSOS-000-1300P for your version of King of Africa.

Yes,  have extra spin button not being used on one of my machines.  Will that os card for Africa be called anything else (ex: g1.3, d1.3,etc).  Having hard time finding one.

Thanks
Arnold

Just because you have the button panel doesn't mean you have the additional hardware to use it.  On the back of the button, there should be a ribbon cable connected to an animator control board, and from there an "ethernet" type cable (SPN Cable) that goes to the SPN Hub. The Hub has 4 ports I believe (or is it 5?) and then it has a power cable attached to it and then another "ethernet" type cable going to the backplane. If you don't have any of these parts, your extra bet button is just eye candy and doesn't do much other than repeat bet.

I opened another topic before where extra bet button was not working and replaced cable, board, button etc and it ended up being the cpu that had an issue.  I finally bought another one and the error cleared.  One of my first mystery repairs.
thanks
