G22 dynamic button issue

we have a constant issue with a G22 slant top machine. It keeps going into a red screen error “USB class manager PID 8212” whenever the buttons are plugged in, no matter if we replace a board or program them or what have you. Kind of lost with this.


Any help is appreciated

Maybe if someone has a cheat sheet to look at these errors (if there is such a thing)

If I remember correctly we have the license dongle in the brain box, that’s the only dongle. The other usb’s are used by the TS, printer etc

Do you have a separate USB "hub" board apart from the main backplane, or are all your USB ports on the same board?  If you have already switched out the blackfin/controller board from your machine and you are still getting this error, I would look at replacing the backplane with the usb ports on it.
