IGT AVP SMLD Game Error

I tried loading a Type 3 game on an SMLD video machine and I now get the "Device Offline" error.

I have removed the game but the error is still there.

Is there anyway to clear this without wiping the machine?

I will answer my own post by saying that clearing the safe storage with the diagnostic key did clear the error.

The down side to this is you have to go back and set all the denoms for the games.

If anyone has found a better way please post.

Did you check to see if there is a connection problem connecting to the backplane?
