Avp 2.0 not accepting bills?
« on: December 28, 2019, 12:57:33 AM »
I have an avp 2.0 I just moved the brainbox to a new housing, did the key turn procedures, there are no error messages, but the machine refuses to let me put bills in it. I did go into setting and turn on stack bill stack voucher and it took it during the test, but once I close the door, it’s like it’s dead to the world.

I put it back into the original cabinet and set it up again, and same situation, it reads the bill going in during diagnostics but it doesn’t even try to accept it once I close the machine.

Any pointers?

Door P is the CPU door, at least that is what the manual says.

That was my assumption as well. but when I am in door optics and i close that door it closes cage door, but not processor door. I have a feeling there is another one I am just missing.

You are correct, I can't even get a P code, I have opened every door I can find.

Do you have the cover on the MPU completely?

Went that route too. I also have mutiple avps so I took out another box put that box in it (it’s original home where it was playing) and cleared it again and still nada. So I opened the brainbox and went through everything, still nada. The only thing I think I will try to rule out the cabinet at this point is to grab another brainbox that’s already been tested and passed and put it in there and see if it shows door p, if you go into the doors page does yours say it’s open or closed? It may not even be a hard tilt and I’m hanging up on it for no reason at all.

Nope not logic door, I’m hoping someone has a diagram or something showing where all the doors are. I can’t believe that I can’t find a single reference to where the “processor board door” switch is

Here is the only reference in the AVP manual I can find.

I don't have a 2.0 to look at, looks like it may be specific to the 2.0 and/or OS?
