i HAVE an s2000 triple double red hot7's (5r/9l/90credit). The multimedia lite board that attaches to the main board has a 3.5 aux jack on it. I was wondering what that is for.

So now I am confused now it is muli-media lite board aux jack.-?  Not sound board.  I could care less what game it is at this point.  Take pictures and post what you have or want to know questions about because there are diff. boards out there and we need to know to help.

I see it now,  It is not needed.  What was it for,- On a s-2k? never seen it used. Unless it was for some sort of external game sound for player traking/sound in the front face.  Never really paid that much attention to the port.  "sound board" got me off-track-sorry.

You may need to down-size your pic's to load here.  It tells you the req. when you go to post.  seen your pics in media upload.  Same as I said earlier. What would you like the port to do? .

well. nothing in particular i guess. just curious really....

on second thought. could be cool to mount an aux port on the side of the machine so i could plug up a smart phone/ipod or something and have it play through the machine.

Curious, on the vision machines, did the top bonus CPU generate the bonus sounds, and if so, how was it connected to the sound system on the machine?  I always thought that port was to hook up the sound coming out of top boxes that had their own cpu and software for the bonus round.

I have been monkeying with a Vision (true Vision cabinet/harnesses).. The top Vision monitor powers the speakers, LCD/CPU having its own volume for bonuses, and basic spin/rollup volume being controlled like a regular S2000.., Separate volume control.  I can take a pic of how the harnesses run if needed..

I would also like to know if/where there is a audio out some place on an S2000. I know I could steal/splice from the speakers themselves, but would rather plug and avoid Frankensteining as much as possible.

Have you tried the headphone jack on the multimedia board. Not sure if that's what it's for but can't think of what else it might be either. Maybe an input?
