Will original printer work?

After testing my printer in the 4.7.2 menu, I know the printer will print.

However, after looking the TITO setup instructions again, I notice that it says it will only work with (Bettor Slots, TITO @ home, Foster TITO) printers.

Is there a way to get the original printer working?  Still has tickets from Bally's in Atlantic City, so it was straight from the casino..

Do you have a Key chip??? If so have you key chipped the machine, gone into keychipII menu 7.2.1.1 and enable the printer? Also is validation set to standard in 7.2.1.1 if not using a tito device?

It is the one that came in the machine from the casino.  I didn't buy it separately.

if you hit the cash out button with credits on the machine will your printer, print a ticket? If not what does it do or say?

If you are trying to get the machine to accept the tickets that it prints out, back in...  it will not ! unless you buy one of the devices offered by multiple vendors here referred to as TITO devices. machines from the casino relied on the back room servers of the casino to validate and verify the ticket as real. At home it can't do that without a add on device that fools the machine into thinking it is real. The TITO device mentioned above.

That answers my question then.  It is not that important to get the printer working, just thought it would be cool if it did.  I don't want to spend any money on it at this time.


BTW, it says "Sorry, the printer is not available"

Key the machine and change the validation to Standard.

That lets the machine print a cash out ticket, without looking for a validation host.

Well, I tried twice more to get it to work.  By changing 7.2.1.1 Validation Type to Standard and 7.2.1.2 Validation Security to Disabled, and it prints a ticket successfully, but then immediately goes into "Call Attendant, Printer Paper Error"


Then to top it off, it will not accept the tickets...

IF you do not have a TITO system it will not accept tickets!
