Different versions of Hexbreaker?

I have a 3902 of Hexbreaker, and the resolution is terrible on it.  Are there different versions of it out there (besides the 044) that might affect its resolution?  I got this third hand, and it just feels a bit off.

Is this the right setup?

Usually the pxl and cgf are same number.  My set uses 1093 pxl and cgf.

Forgive me the base is the i0000725, the cgf and pxl  is the same, 1093.

Looks like the monitor is set for the wrong resolution? See if the monitor has an auto adjust button or menu item. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

Telltale symptoms of a bad CGF Simm card.  You can try cleaning the contacts and see if that fixes it or not, but more than likely it's bad.
