Validation Host Not Available

I am nearly done with the resurrection of my machine but I cannot get my device to work with the tito.  Get the following error and I don't know what to do now:

Protocol Error - Validation System Failure
SAS - 1
Please Correct the Error

I wish it would tell me how to correct the error!

I think you will find this youtube video helpful.  You said you don't have a validator or printer installed, so this one shows you the settings for that.  You'll have to use the service button to add credits to the machine.  Some TITO boards may require changes to enable the service button credits.

Have exact settings. Still same error. Switched out back board too.

Tito is not communicating the system.  Does your tito have leds to indicate serial coms?

Here it is.  It is plugged into the daughter board. No lights on daughter board.  Maybe that is bad, but lights are on the board as shown.

I have two questions:
 - I took the daughter board off and put it on this for this question.  Should the led's be lit up on this end first picture?  Also the connector to the left.  Should it have something plugged into it?
 - On the power devices J20, J23, J24 could one of these be hooked up wrong on my system causing the error?

So, there are no other wires that go into the daughterboard.  My issue was the connector going to the back board in the Com Power port.  The pins didn't appear to be seated properly.  I don't understand how they worked their way out.  Had another harness so I replaced it and bam!  I am back in business.
