REVISED:  Helps to not mix up the machines!  The B&W is my Bally Pro6000!

It makes me sick that as careful as I was in trying to reconfigure my 2x3x4x5x Super Times Pay that my KEY45 had two pins break off and my base ROM has a pin or two that are in a very fragile state.  My CLEAR224 also has one pin that is on its way to being questionable...

Is there anyone out there that can help me out and clone my base ROM as well as have a set of CLEAR/KEY made without breaking the bank this close to Christmas?  I was really hoping to have this machine up and running for my 50th birthday on New Year's Eve.

I am getting a 40 pin ZIF socket to eliminate this hazard in the future.

Thanks

Distraught, but I know my friends here can help!

Alternatively... I am not above getting a burner and making my own clone on the base chip if someone can make recommendations for burner/software/blanks... I would hope to never need another set of chips after installing the ZIF, but it is a little added insurance if I can read the ROM and keep a safe copy just in case.

We are not supposed to ask for "copies" contact coorslight. He has all the "original"chips you need.

I was not asking to purchase a copy but to have my original chip duplicated prior to its physical failure, hence I have the original IGT chip, but it is not going to be serviceable much longer due to fragile pins.  If I had a burner I would delicately place it in the ZIF to get the image and reproduce it myself onto a new die so that my machine could continue to function.

I know this is a touchy subject with copyright, but I would think that IGT would allow this on a home use only machine that is close to 10 years old.  As far as I can find so far, I cannot find the correct base chip number on the official IGT list, I have nothing against buying an authentic IGT chip if I can find which one I need!

Apparently the base chip that I need is the SB101090.  Who can help me out?  I have a couple of you privately messaging... make me your best offer and make my birthday! :)

I should have found the winking symbol, as that was intended as quotation mark. You know the "original" not. Have a HUNKA, HUNKA, Happy Birthday

If any of the metal pin is left and in good condition, I have broken a pin off a bad chip and soldered it to the partial pin on the chip I hope to save. Does work and makes a good connection. Requires a fine point soldering iron.

Got my new sockets yesterday on my birthday and put them in one of the new daughterboards... chipping is SO EASY with a ZIF... I didn't mind that I goofed a few settings and had to re-clear the machine a couple of times... if I would have been fighting with that stupid tooled socket I'd still be down there cussing at the thing.  Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen in time for my birthday!  I only got to run $1 through it because I found more to tinker with, see my next post...
