Double Diamond eproms

Okay so my wife says the Double Diamond machine is too tight. I say no problem the machine came with two extra SS chips a 3634 (95%) and a 3633(87.5%). The machine is currently running a SS3631 (92.5%). I figure I will pop in the 3634 and that would help loosen it up a bit. I installed the chip and get the 62-1 error (bad eprom) which will not clear. When I close the door the candle shows a door open error and will not do anything else. I removed the 3634 and put in the 3633 just to see if it worked and got the same exact result. I re-installed the original 3631 and it powered up and plays normally.
I pop the 3634 and 3631 in the GQ-4X and read the programs but when I try to verify they fail. My thought is to obtain another copy of the 3631 and 3634 .bin files and reprogram the eproms and see if I can get the error to clear. Is there a resource where I can obtain those files? or is there another option? The game is a SP772.

The SS3664 chip will take it to about 97% and is a 3 reel,3 coin max chip....

Honestly, you are not going to see a significant difference between a 92% chip and a 97% chip.  The difference comes in the middle range payouts, you will get some more, but not significant to tell the difference.  You will really not notice any difference as far as home pays.  These machines were meant to make money, not give it away, so unless you can get some sort of doctored chip that will pay more than 100%, your game play will appear unchanged.  The only way to get "more action" is to go a multi-line game.  These games pay more often, but not necessarily coming out ahead.  For example, you could bet 3 coins, and have a 2 coin win, thereby actually loosing a coin in the process.  That is the allure of the video slots,  you bet 40 coins and maybe get paid 5, but you get paid almost every spin, so it "feels" like you are winning, but you are actually not.
