I have   5   Alpha2  CPUs ,  Brain Boxes...  whatever you want to call them.... 
Selling them as a group:  $750.  for  5 of them ($150 each)....
 They are parts complete...EXCEPT for the  SATA  hard drive. (readily available)
Selling them  AS-IS not working...for repair.
If only wanting to purchase one... will sell individually  $225.   Same (NO)guarantee. for parts/repair.

The problem of Alpha 2's is that you need backplane boards! There seems to be a HUGE shortage of them. I would buy one if they come or able to find a Backplane board.

Charles,  There are some that have used the alpha 2 assembley and adapted to a-1-  That assembley consists of the backplane,pwr. board,pwr supply and chasis that holds it all together.  I can say that is a COMPLETE barrell of monkeys to do depending on your wants and applications.  Also many high-end game require a I-deck,Viedo topper , diff. sound board and a diff. gadget board even if you do have the "conversion back-plane".  They are nice and fun to play once done.

I also have  7  Alpha2  cpus with  NO Video boards and NO  (sata) Hard Drives....some missing the pwr supply...or bad pwr supply.

  Will  sell these 7 ....package deal:  $700.
