Game maker sound too low....?
« on: December 14, 2015, 11:35:22 AM »
Hey guys, just got a game maker hd machine... But the sound doesn't work very well... I am getting sound from all speakers.... I have the volume maxed out in the attendant menu and game menu... The sound is very soft... On my other alphas I keep them at 6 and that's too loud for me.... I've swapped out a Good working amp and no change.... Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Tom

I would hook up a pair of amplified speakers to the minijack output to see if it sounds good.  If it does, then you have a wiring issue.  If it doesn't your mpu has some issue.

If your're running suite 7 or better, make sure you have the "player" controlled volume turned up. While in a game, tap the the INFO button on the bottom of the screen and you will see a picture of a speaker appear. There are three levels of volume that you can choose from by tapping that speaker icon. Also, check to be sure that the casino didn't install a mixer/amp into the factory wiring. I've come across several machines with this but it's easily removed.

Cleared it and installed suite 7 instead of suite 1 that was installed in it.
