Press the "bet one credit" button until you've reached the maximum number of coins the machine will take for a single spin (usually 2 or 3, depending on your game), but don't spin yet. Does the buzzing stop then once you've reached the maximum coins (credits) in?
If so, as Ohio Gaming was getting at, the sound is likely the solenoid for the coin diverter in your coin-in assembly.
Hi Kevin
I'm having this problem too with one of my machines (just happened tonight while sitting idle, the machine starting making that terrible noise like something was running/clicking). Anyways, I found your previous post where you helped someone out.
I seen the user "cowboygames" comments too, but he's been off line for a couple of months and I thought you could help.
The steps you posted worked and made it go quite! Thanks!!
Is that wire to unplug the one behind everything in the coin assembly? I would guess the coin assembly is pulled off for access.
Is that part something of importance and should be replaced? I'm in the early stages of learning about my recently acquired machines.
Any info or guidance is greatly appreciated.
Jim
