Double Diamond "Mini Bertha" slot help needed

Picked up a Mini Bertha double diamond slot machine... keeps giving me a 41 or 42 reel error. After doing some research it seems these slots used a different SP chip to control the reel boards (these reels have separate reel driver boards for each reel). I THINK its either the SP857, SP1018 or the SP1224 but im not sure as they all say mini bertha.... anyone have the proper SP chip for a Mini bertha? My direct email is

Greg,   if you have any other S+ machines, I would think you could install the SP in that machine and use test #4 to get an actual readout of what type chip it is ?

then I would could look through my inventory of SP chips and see if we could come up with one.

Jim I have the SP1271 as well as many others, but this mini bertha has special huge reels & 3 separate driver boards....one to control each wheel. it NEEDS a special SP chip to control the driver boards.

So, did the machine have the wrong SP chip installed, or the SP chip was missing?

The cpu board was missing, so I didnt have the proper SP chip.... I said "shes a runner!!!"
