Aristocrat Viridian WS - Topper connecting problem
« on: August 24, 2018, 04:03:46 AM »
Hello together,

i really hope you could help me.

I have just got an Aristocrat Viridian WS machine and as a single part a square topper with RGB-LED lighting ring like on the picture.

My Problem now; i dont know how to connect it to the machine. There are three connectors coming out of the topper: One is for the topper light, thats clear.

But furthermore there are two connectors / cables (please see the pictures) from which i do not know how to connect them to the machine because i have not found the counterparting connectors inside the machine.

I have opened the topper housing and found out that there is a small control board in it. The RGB-LED ring that framed the topper is connected with a 7-wire cable to that control board. The control board itself is connected via three cables which are combined to one port at the bottom of the topper housing. From that port the cable is splitted in two wires (the two i have mentioned above).

Furthermore there is one LED-control board in the top of the machine from which the side-LED-bars are controlled as well. But i could not found any fitting port on it for the two cables coming out of the topper.

What could i do? Must i run the 7-wire cable from the RGB-LED-ring maybe diretly to the control board in the top of the machine, because there is the only counterparting connector with 7 pins? Or will i need an adapter maybe? Or do i have a wrong / old Controller in my machine?

Thanks a lot for any help!
