IGT S+ need help after clearing. Set chip? Par?

      I'm working on a S+ for my friend. I had to clear the machine to get out of the 61 loop. I did try everything before I did that. The slot is playing fine now but he wants the DBV to work. I'm pretty sure I need a SET CHIP and maybe a PAR sheet? It has a SP731 chip and a DBV-200-B123 in it. Can someone here put me on the right path or point me to a tutorial?

You will need a SET chip (SET005, SET015, and SET017 are all specified as valid SET chips for your SP chip -- a SET015 or similar should work fine).  Many of the vendors listed on the front page of the site here can supply one for you if you need it.  Here are directions on how to enable the bill validator once you have the SET chip:

The PAR ("Paytable And Reel") sheet would list specific payout information for the reel ("SS") chip.  A PSR (Program Summary Report) goes with the game ("SP") chip, and lists the various options available for the SP chip.  Neither of those are required to enable the bill validator.  The PSR for the SP731 can be found in the downloads section, and very likely the PAR for whatever reel chip you're running is also available there.

Thank you so much! I did search for it but must have worded it wrong. I've changed several batteries for him but this was the firs time I had to clear the EEprom. I will post back after I get the chip and hopefully have it working.
