Newbie questions
« on: May 12, 2019, 04:29:23 PM »
Hi everyone,
Just picked up a Williams BB1 Hot Hot super jackpot multi game.
The guy I bought it off of said that the printer was turned off by the person that refurbished it. I would like to turn it back on and use it for this machine. It is a Gen2 printer . Is that something I would have to run a clear card through? Any tips or pointers for this newbie would be appreciated and how was this machine? Thank you very much Guys
BTW it’s a 3 reel transmissive.

Correct, you would have to ram clear it to enable it. Some OS's allow you to change printer type without ram clear but if it is disabled it locks it. If it was enabled, you would need to have some sort of TITO device installed in order to use it though. (something like Bettor Tito on classifieds first ad) otherwise it will hand pay as soon as you press cash out because there is nothing there to generate a validation id or venue information.

Fun games but grab you a bite to eat and read a book while waiting for games to change, also the monitor gets pretty warm so you might want to watch ambient room temperatures
