IGT slot machine stopped working Need help on where to start

I have an IGT Balloon Bars slot machine that was working great.  One of my kids friends was messing/playing with it and I heard a weird noise come from the speaker and now it doesn't work.  It has power and when you close the door the reels spin and then it does nothing.  The winner paid is flashing all zeros and the Credits still have the 400 credits it had when it was working in the window but the 1000 place is flashing Zero.  Not sure where to start.  Thanks in advance

What do you mean by the 1000 place?  Try turning the jackpot reset key one time.

I tried the reset key did nothing.  What I mean by the 1000 is if you look at the credit it had 497 but now if has 0497 and the zero flashes on and off.     Both the winner paid and the credits are flashing.
