Hi Everyone,
Apologies if this is a question that's been answered elsewhere, but I've scrolled through this forum as well as a couple other websites and can't seem to find my exact issue. I've also learned pretty much everything I know about slot machines, their parts, technical terms, etc. over the last month so please bear with my limited knowledge.
I am on the verge of purchasing an IGT S+ machine, and the seller has told me of a second one that he has and would be willing to sell for a couple hundred dollars because of a technical issue. The initial issue was the machine displaying Error Code 61-1, but I found an online IGT error code guide that led to him to use the reset key to clear it. Now that it has cleared, a different error has come up. The machine takes credits and spins seemingly normally, but every time the slots / reels end they're landing in the exact same place. I've attached a video of the issue for reference, apologies for poor quality as it was also sent to me that way. While I've found forum posts about the spinners getting stuck or going at incorrect speeds, I haven't seen anything where they seemingly spin normally but keep ending in the exact same spot.
I guess my question is a two parter, firstly if anyone suspects what the issue might be, and secondly if with this type of issue the machine is worth taking a flier on for a couple hundred dollars? Unfortunately it's still with the seller so I can't open it up and answer follow-up questions directly, but I have been in regular contact with him and can ask him any important questions. I've also attached a picture of the machine model in case it helps. Thank you!
EDIT: Just wanted to add from the video that the seller told me he unplugged the sound wires due to annoyance, obviously I'll have him test the sound before buying but that's not a concern as of now
