Newbie to Game King

Hello All,
So I bought a machine basically sight unseen. Previous owners said it used to work but now displays no signal. I opened it up to check the main board before even trying to power it on myself. I've looked through prior posts and it appears to be an 044 board running 6.0? I've attached some pictures. There was some strange black moist goop in a couple spots on the board, which I've done my best to clean up. Not sure where it came from, pulled the LCD chassis and it didn't come from above.

Anyways, can someone help me identify the version and if I need to get a key chip so I can program it? Where does a guy get manuals for this?

I'd also like to get TITO working if at all possible but need to get her powered up first.

The other thing I noticed was the bally sound amp was completely disconnected and floating around in the top of the machine. There is a rats nest of wires up there, many disconnected.

Any tips for a newbie are much appreciated. Got the machine for $160 so don't mind putting money into it

You're correct it's an 044 MPU.  Not sure what game is on the flash card because I can't read the number in the picture, but it could have been reflashed anyhow.  It really doesn't matter at this point since it apparently is not booting.

Key 28 is what you need to key the machine, but do your self a favor and get a game king developer's chip (GKDEV39), it has a keychip function and other features built in.  Member RB here can help you with that.  There are some Game King manuals here in the file section, but you you have to be a contributing member to access that area. 

That bally box is part of the player tracking system used when it was installed in the casino.  You don't need need any of it and it plus all the disconnected cables that went to it can be removed.

Re-install the MPU board and turn the power on.  Let us know what the LED lights on the MPU board to when powered up.  For $160, you stole it.  The LCD display is worth more than that as is the MPU board (if working).

First, thanks for the quick response
Had no lights at first...The second fuse on the right was blown. Put a new one in and now the left led is blinking red, 5 amber, 2 green. I measured the voltage of the coin cell and the soldered battery. Both dead as a doornail. Could this cause a no boot?

Also, how do I get in touch with RB? Didn't see an option to message them.

The flash chip says gkb00025.

I also tested the voltage on the board and get 23.75 and 13.4

what number is on the flash memory board? GK003410?  (Kitty Glitter)   
what is the substance circled on the mpu board? bug nests?

Sticker on the board is gk002419.

No idea what the goo was... Cleaned it up with QD cleaner and compressed air. Replaced blown fuse. Checked voltages (above). Also reseated the 3 socketed chips (yes they are in correct with regards to notches)

Previous owner said it used to work until they just got a no signal error. Then I discovered the blown fuse. Guess it wouldn't surprise me if the board was toast given the black goo and other facts.
